According to fire brigade officials, 12 vehicles were at the scene and engaged in trying to control and douse the blaze but its cause was yet to be determined.

Speaking to Geo News, the fire chief said the go-down had cotton bales stored inside, which had made it easier for the flames to spread quickly and challenging to be brought under control.
