PM Nawaz Sharif was updated on security situation by Army Chief. A brief meeting was held and Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was updated by Army chief on the current situation of law and order in the country.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa gave brief updates on security issues in tribal areas and told about the beneficent consequences of the operation Zarb-e-Azb which is still onboard.
PM was told about the rehabilitation of Internal Displace Persons (IDP,s) who were suffered from the operation Zarb-e-Azb that conduct against militancy in tribal areas.
Army Chief also told about the relationship with Afghanistan on security level. Afghanistan is our close neighbour and a good friend. Pakistan wants a healthy and constructive relationship with our neighbour. Pakistan also suffered if any terrorist activity happened in Afghanistan. Afganistan, Iran and India are our neighbours and We want strong collation with all of them.
It is a strong commitment that country’s soil will not allow using for any terrorist activity.
