CHIEF JUSTICE ISLAMABAD HIGH COURT ORDERED TO RAISE THE BLASPHEMOUS ISSUE WITH PRIME MINISTER

The blasphemous issue would be raised in front of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. IHC.

According to detail, Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui (Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court) perused the blasphemy case and ordered to government higher authorities for raising the issue with Prime Minister on Wednesday.

An application was submitted by Salman Shahid (Petitioner) regarding blasphemy content on social media pages and websites. Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui heard the case and restrict order was given to all relevant authorities on Thursday

The IHC also ordered to law & enforcement agencies to take strong action against this offence. All judiciary is committed to this single point agenda but the whole parliament is scattered on this issue.

It should be noted that the court earlier ordered the Interior Ministry to include the names of all those people who upload blasphemous content on social media websites in the Exit Control List (ECL).
