According to the source, Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Mian Saqib Nisar took sou moto notice against an incident of Vani that happened in Larkana.
CJP has ordered to DIG Larkan against the Vani case that happened in Larkana where two girls have sold in 1.3 million. Their ages are 9 and 4 years.
Vani is a custom in rural areas of Pakistan which means girls forcibly sold as the punishment of the crime committed by men of the family.
According to detail, last month an incident of Vani had happened in Thul (Jacobabad). Two girls were sold in 1.3 million as fine on a poor labour. Illegal Jirga gave the decision against poor labour and charged the fine of 1.3 million. If he will not pay the fine of fixed amount, he will bind to Vani his two daughters.
The poor labourer Muhammad Hashim Khoso had protested against the decision of Jirga in front of Press club Jacobabad and said he cannot manage the fine.
He had appealed to CJP for taking sou moto notice and save his daughter Fatima 9 years and Sugahara 4 years.
