GOVERNMENT OF KHYBER PAKHTUNKHWA APPROVED PESHAWAR MASS TRANSIT SYSTEM.

Peshawar Mass Transit System is a transporting system for passengers which has approved by Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Feasibility report has prepared and the project will start from December 17.

Peshawar Mass Transit System is also called Peshawar Metro Bus Service. The 26-kilometre highway alongside the existing railway track project will be completed under a Public Private Partnership with an estimated cost of Rs 14 billion. The Peshawar Metro will be a comprehensive system for rapid movement of mass transport on the five different routes in Peshawar and will be completed in different phases.

The Phase 1 of Peshawar Mass Transit System will extend from Hayatabad’s Karkhano Market to Cantonment and will be completed in 6 months. Phase 2 will extend from Cantonment to Nasirpur and will be completed in months. KPK government claimed that it is the low-cost project.
