The previous chief of Indian naval employees Admiral L Ramdas has written a letter to the Election Fee of India (ECI) expressing ‘concern’ and ‘dismay’ on ‘current cases’ of political events utilizing armed forces to “affect the voters”.
Criticising the usage of armed forces for votes, the previous admiral stated the “current cases of utilizing the armed forces for political good points, particularly within the aftermath of each Pulwama and the strikes in Balakot” is towards the ethos of the armed forces.
