ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday introduced that Pakistan could be releasing the Indian pilot tomorrow as a peace gesture.
Pakistan on Wednesday shot down two Indian plane when the crossed the Line on Management and captured Wig Commander Abhinandan.
The prime minister was addressing the joint session of Parliament and in a message, urged India to not escalate the state of affairs. “Don’t take this any additional, Pakistan might be pressured to retaliate.”
“I hope the worldwide group will play its half to make sure the state of affairs doesn’t escalate past this,” the prime minister added.
Earlier, whereas talking to Geo Information International Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi stated Pakistan could be prepared to contemplate returning the Indian pilot if it led to de-escalation.
“If there’s de-escalation with the return of this [Indian] pilot, Pakistan is prepared to contemplate this,” Qureshi stated.
