INTERNATIONAL NAVEL EXERCISE NAMED AMAN 17 STARTED IN ARABIAN SEA

Naval exercise AMAN-17 is observed and also participating from 36 countries. Exercise will be observed by 31 countries and 12 countries Australia, China, Indonesia, japan, Malaysia, Maldives, Russia, Sri Lanka, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States are participating.

Russia is participating for the first time in this exercise.

This exercise has many heavy machinery, mechanism and weapons aircraft, helicopters, ships, marines, Special Operations Force (SOF), Explosive Ordinance Disposal (EOD) and the observer from other regional are also involve.

Commander Pakistan Fleet Vice Admiral Sayed Arifullah Hussaini said that Naval exercise named Aman-17 will help the countries to clear the Arabian Sea from the pirates.

Pakistan is conducting this Naval exercise from 2007.

Started four exercises 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2013 have been conducted in Pakistan in which much heavy armed system was operated. Current exercise will be held from 10 to 14 February.
