PAKISTAN HAVE REDUCED THE SCALE OF CORRUPTION IN 2016

Transparency international reported on Wednesday, this year scale of corruption reduced in Pakistan.

Pakistan scale of corruption come down from 30 to 32 out of 100 in CPI,s (Corruption Perceptions Index) score. According to the CPI 2016, Pakistan’s scale is much better in 2016 and improved by 9 spots. In 2016, Pakistan was at 61 in the list of most corrupt countries among 176. In 2015 Pakistan’s spot number was 52 among 168 countries but in 2016, CPI gave a better report then ever.

According to CPI (Corruption Perceptions Index), 2016, Pakistan’s CPI score has improved by two spots from 30 to 32 out of 100. The country’s rank in the CPI 2016 improved by nine spots, to 61 in the list of most corrupt countries among 176 countries in 2016, from 52 among 168 countries in 2015.

When the first CPI was published in 1996, Pakistan climbed up from the lowest one-third corrupt countries to the middle one-third countries in 2016.

After China, Pakistan came at 2nd number in reducing corruption among its South Asian counterparts.

After the intellectual’s views, every year Transparency International publishes a report on corruption in public sectors around the world.
