RUSSIA, IRAN AND PAKISTAN PURSUING THEIR OWN AGENDA IN AFGHANISTAN, US COMMANDER

US front role commander concern that Pakistan, Iran and Russia have to pursue their agenda in Afghanistan even they know very well that Afghanistan is a war-torn country.

Afghan service, General Nicholson giving an interview to Voice of America (VOA) and said that Afghanistan is a war-torn area and America is fighting with terrorists but at this critical situation, Russia, Iran and Pakistan are pursuing their agenda. With this situation, the war against terrorist will effect.  We have serious concerned about outside actors who are trying to fulfil their interests in Afghan territory.

We have strong evidence that Iran and Russia have linked with terrorist to create unrest situation and make it more difficult for America.

“Russia has been legitimising the Taliban and supporting the Taliban,” he said. “Meanwhile, the Taliban supports terrorists. I’m very sorry to see Russia supporting the Taliban and narcoterrorism.”  Nicholson

US Commander has serious concerned about Iran that Iran is supporting terrorists in western Afghanistan. Iran involvement is more complex than with Russia.

Nicholson said.

“There needs to be a relationship” between Afghanistan and Iran, which have seen a resurgence in the trade that has partially compensated for a decline in Afghan economic activity with Pakistan.

In the interview regarding Pakistan, the US Commander said, “We want cooperation from Pakistan against all terrorists. We are fully hopeful that Pakistan will change in behaviour and will not support the terrorists. This all is in Pakistan’s interest.
