ISLAMABAD: Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman on Monday ordered the discharge of two,107 Pakistani prisoners in Saudi Arabia with instant impact.
Overseas Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Data Minister Fawad Chaudhry shared that the Saudi crown prince, who’s on a two-day go to to Pakista, ordered the discharge of Pakistani prisoners on Prime Minister Imran Khan’s request.
“HRH Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman has graciously agreed to free 2,107 Pakistani prisoners in Saudi Arabia with instant impact,” Qureshi tweeted.
“Circumstances of the remaining might be reviewed. Individuals of Pakistan thank HRH for responding instantly to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s request,” the overseas minister added.
The data minister tweeted, “As a sequel to prime minister of Pakistan’s request, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of KSA Mohammad Bin Salman has ordered the instant launch of two,107 Pakistani prisoners Saudi Jails.”
PM Imran had raised the difficulty of Pakistani prisoners languishing in Saudi jails throughout his assembly with the crown prince on Sunday.
