ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi spoke to his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javed Zarif on Sunday.
During the dialog, Qureshi suggested Zarif that Iran was Pakistan’s neighbour and Islamabad would by no means try to create any difficulties for their country.
“We respect Iran’s sovereignty and hope Iran respects our sovereignty”, Qureshi said.
Consistent with the Iranian Ministry of Worldwide Affairs, Qureshi strongly condemned and supplied condolences over the present terrorist assault in south-eastern Iran.
“Pakistan is ready for any cooperation [with Iran] to probe into the regrettable incident, and for a joint struggle in the direction to eliminate terrorist groups,” the Pakistani FM was quoted by Iran’s Worldwide Ministry.
On the very least 27 members of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards travelling on a bus within the southeast of the nation had been killed in a suicide bombing on Wednesday.
